PMO Review

A review would not qualify as an audit according to the audit profession, but it is sufficient to meet the business needs of the PMO. In some cases, a more independent audit is needed. For example, if gross incompetence, gross negligence, or intentional criminal acts, or acts of sabotage are suspected, then an independent audit is needed. The independent audit operates at a forensic level, that is, it is valid as court testimony. It therefore can support any personnel actions that might be challenged, and also any criminal or civil court actions.
