Project Office Standard PMO

As these six examples illustrate, there are many ways that a Standard PMO can work to standardize project management across the organization so that the organization has a defined approach to project management. The Standard PMO has reached its full growth when:The methodology, processes, and tools are well-defined, stable, and well-understood.The methodology is flexible enough to guide all projects of all types and sizes performed by the organization to success.By and large, the organization follows the methodology most of the time. The rate at which projects deliver acceptable results on time and within budget is high. The overall perception is that the PMO has solved the problems that were causing projects to fail, or be late or over-budget.
