Functional Project Management Requirements
06 February 2009
| n | Define functional requirements. The functional requirements of each application must be defined. A summary list of many of the major categories of functional requirements appears at the top of this page. Following the PMO's methodology for project management software requirements specification, the functional requirements should be fully developed. This work includes reviewing the goals and objectives of the organization and communication with all users and stakeholders. The PMO may wish to retain specialized expertise in information technology (IT) development, either internal or external, for this evaluation.
| | n | Define technical requirements. Working in cooperation with the organization's information technology (IT) department, the PMO team should define the technical requirements for each application.
