Project Management Community Stakeholders12 May 2009The first row of the table shows that, in the activity of preparing the plan for this service, the PMO Project Manager will approve the plan. The service manager will both manage the work and perform some of the work, and both team members will contribute by performing some of the work. Note that the activities already listed in the table correspond to the basic steps of operating any service. As noted in Step 3 above, this should be modified and expanded to describe all activities related to executing this service. See the life cycle page for each specific service for additional information and examples. Identify StakeholdersEach service is offered to certain customers, and is also of concern to other stakeholders. Follow these two steps to identify customers and stakeholders using project management software : 1. Identify the customers who will receive this service. The customer is the person who uses the service direct benefit and receives its direct benefit. 2. Identify the stakeholders who will provide input to the service or who will benefit because the PMO is operating this service. Suggested customers and other stakeholders for each service are in the example on the life cycle page for each specific service.
