MPMM Method123 Project Management Methodology

Project Management Execution Phase

12 June 2009

To plan the small, continuous improvements that are part of the Execution Phase, prepare an improvement project office checklist for each service. Follow the four steps shown in this diagram to prepare the checklist:

1. Review Feedback

2. Identify Improvements

3. Assign Work for Improvements

4. Schedule Implementation of Improved Service

§ Review feedback. Organize the feedback by issue. Determine the significance of each issue. Determine which issues are significant enough that improvement is needed.

§ Identify improvements. For each significant issue, define what change in service will resolve the issue.

§ Assign work for improvements. Assign the work of making the changes to the service to a member of the project manager team. Include a date by which all work should be completed. Include review of the changes to ensure they are satisfactory.

§ Schedule implementation of improved service. Once the improved service is prepared, make it available to customers.
